POSI pos system is highly diverse in functionality, both standard and add-on types. Listed below are just some of the capabilities. For a more comprehensive list go to the
Feature List
or use Search.
- POSI Standalone
This is suitable for a retail shop
with a single pos station or multiple pos stations each using their own
databases.
- POSI Local Network
This version has the capability to network 2 or more pos terminals in the same shop and using a single central database. This is especially suitable for supermarkets.
- POSI Remote Network
- Decentralised
Shops use their own databases located at the remote HQ. Alternatively, a shop's databases can be local and still accessible by the HQ and other outlets. There are some limitations compared to the centralised version below.
- Centralised
This version has the capability to network shops at separate locations. The pos terminals in these outlets use a single unified database located at the remote HQ.
More features are available in this centralised version such as security of data under HQ control and unified member data accessible across outlets.
- POSI F&B
- Restaurant POS
This system is able to easily hold bills, to split items in a bill among patrons at the same table, to merge table bills and to change table no. for a customer. It also has a floor plan that shows at any given moment the tables taken and available.
