As per sample below if you add up all the figures highlighted in pink, then they should equal the figure highlighted in blue. Similarly under '----- more details below ------' the figures will also add up to the same amount.

You can also get the sale summary for a particular month.
At the bottom right in the pos window you only need to select the 'Month'
checkbox. When you do this you are telling the program to generate a monthly
hourly sale report. The month you specify is the month that is shown in the
calendar - in this example it is July 2007. Next just click the 'Sales
Sum' button to show the sale summary for the whole month.
This feature may be needed by some stores which need to know how much of their monthly collection is by cards in order to verify the monthly billing from the credit card companies.
