Members
If your version of POSI comes with a "Members" button on the main window then the software has a membership feature which can be activated to give discount to members for their purchases.
To activate this membership discount feature click the Required Settings button on the Main window. Select the "Membership System active" checkbox as shown below. Enter the standard discount percentage that members should be getting for their purchases. The system allows zero discount percentage entry.On the Members window you can further set a discount for a member over and above the standard discount set int Settings windows just explained.
Note that in the sale receipt, member discount is calculated after any Seasonal, Promotional and Quantity discounts.
As illustrated above if your Membership System has been activated, then on the pos window the checkbox next to the Member ID box is automatically selected.
When closing a sale the system will then prompt for the member ID which is assigned to a customer using the Members window (see below). This prompt will prevent oversight of a member when closing a sale. You have the option to uncheck the said checkbox in which case the system will not prompt you for the Member ID.
There are several buttons on the bottom right panel to generate html reports of members' purchases based on a date-to-date criteria.
